Challenge

Client had perfected their craft in the utilization of consumer data for analytics, as well as personalization for email and on-site comms.

They saw an opportunity to move into the world of paid media. The team needed help to implement a DSP and AdServer, as well as a DMP for data warehousing.

Working as a data co-operative for major retailers, the opportunity to activate against the data set were endless, but untested in the paid media world.

Solution

Our team lead the implementation, connected the new technology and facilitated the building of the in-house trading team.

Our team's experience in buying against consumer data offered the ability to bring the client’s existing stack to clients in a commercial setting and gain buy-in from large retailers.

By working with the client’s developers  we defined the key data points for their suite of clients creating segmentation and valuable insights to activate against through paid media.

Results

Client was able to perform exceptionally well in the Display, Social & Search space, with well above average client retention rates.

Client was also able to leverage their data to drive additional revenue streams, whilst being able to hire additional in-house staff adding expertise to the company for future growth.

Client continues to engage with our team for support and expertise while evolving into an in-house retail paid media powerhouse having achieved digital independence.
